You could visit the "All in one page" version of the cookbook and print it as PDF.

Here is good collection of advanced tips for the expert level once you get there and it is a free pdf download. It's better than any cake book i have paid for.

That pseudocoder link is cool, however the href in the link is wrong - points to a bakery.cakephp.org link. So if you want to see the pseudocoder link, copy and paste the URL rather than click on it.
