The 'SelectedValue' can not be set declaratively

I have asp dropdown list -listing specific values as

None Fund Accounting Custody Only Full Fund Admin

in custom edit form in sharepoint designer 2007 I want to show the selected value for the same dropdown list in edit form but as I added SelectedValue="{@Services_x0020_Provided}" its giving error "The 'SelectedValue' can not be set declaratively"
