Can anyone imagine why this would not work? simple one page site.

Disallow: /
Allow: /index.php
Allow: /sitemap.xml
Sitemap: http://www.uplifted.net/sitemap.xml
I have never seen anyone do a root disallow in any examples, but to me this is the most eloquent. Sometimes I run into trouble with this blocking google from finding my sitemap.
I have been working on this for a couple of days now, and think this version will work but cant wait for the hours it takes to verify via google getting around to it.
