Hello,

The formatter in Delphi 2010 is really an annoying thing to me. I prefer formatting my code manually. I believe I do it better.

How can I disable it?

NOTE: Answers on why I don't use it in the first place will not be accepted. I need it switched OFF. Nothing more, nothing less.

Thank you.

Remove or rename the file Embarcadero.Modeling.Formatter.dll in Delphi's bin directory.

I totally agree - its driving me nuts - it assumes ive got an 80 character wide attention span or some freakish desire to spread single lines of code out so they look like more. Please anybody - how do you switch off this bozo feature. And whose brilliant idea was it to use D (next to the F as in CTRL+F as in i'll just find ... AARRGHHH I've bozo formatted my code again!)

next to the F as in CTRL+F

And what is worse - next to S (Ctrl+S). How many times I wasted my code instead of saving it. And Ctrl+D then saves file so you can't roll back wased code (or maybe I also hit Ctrl+S at the same time)
