How do I delete all files with a certain extension from a PVCS project?

Question

I am splitting out all static content (js, png, gif, jpg, html, etc) files from a large pvcs project and moving them into a separate pvcs project.

How can I delete the files from the existing project without manually going through it and deleting each one?
