notepad++ insert time and date, and the directory path

Question

I just downloaded np++ v 5.3.1 and I'm having two problems with the TextFX plugin:

1) I recorded a macro with "TextFX Insert" > Date & Time (no matter whether short or long format) and, after I run the macro, only the first number of the time appears (i.e. I ask to insert time and it says its 8:59 AM 11/27/2009; but when I run the macro it only past 8: ). How do I do to have the date inserted in the file w/o always needing to go to TextFX > Insert > Date & Time?

2) When I try to use "TextFX Insert" to add the dir name or full path, only the first letter appears (i.e. C:\data would shows up only "C" for full path or only "d" for file name. Did someone fixed that bug yet?

The latest NotePad++ version is 5.5.1 which I have, and ran the textfx plugin and it works. Perhaps that is what you need to do, download the latest and greatest then everything should be ok.

TestFX date & Time is not compatible with macro recording. I am looking myself for a solution. I am using 5.7 atm.
