Hey folks

I'm looking for an eCommerce framework with as many of the following features as possible.

  • Categories, sub-categories and product pages (easy, I know!).
  • ePDQ/Barclays Payment Gateway Support
  • User can pick Delivery Time Slots. Think online supermarkets, where you pick a time you're in to receive delivery.
  • Loyalty Schemes. For inviting friends, or based on number of orders placed.
  • Easy to extend/maintain. Doesn't have to be Open Source, but preferable.
  • Special offeres. 2 for the price of one, 3 for 2, 50% off etc.

The ePDQ and Delivery Slots are the tricky ones to find.

ASP.NET (MVC) or RoR preferred. Spree seems to be the current favourite, and some PHP solutions like CubeCart and Magento look promising.

Thanks in advance :)

You don't want a framework, you want a content management system that's already written for you.

I'll put my vote in for Spree.

http://www.aspdotnetstorefront.com is a good choice.

Fully open source so you can add the features you need.

I think if you where to build from scratch, use rails. But if you wish to build upon someone else's project then I would recommend PHP since there are many php eCommerce projects around the interwebs. I'm not sure about ASP, I don't know what it has to offer...
