Howdy,

I'm generating UTF-8 encoded web content that includes characters using diacritical marks, typically "accented" characters, e.g. "é". Firefox's Find (find in page) function requires that such characters be typed in order to find them, which makes sense, but makes for a usability problem. This is tricky for users who don't know how to enter such characters. Safari's behavior is to match when the user enters the non-accented analog, e.g. "resume" will match for "résumé".

I've been searching for a setting which will allow this kind of search in Firefox. This Firefox "Feature Brainstorming" page suggests others may be interested:

...but that's about it. Any suggestions, besides using Safari? Thanks...
