self timer properties

Is is it possible to tell if a picture from a digital camera was taken with the self timer by looking at the picture properties?

I'm near absoluetly sure that this information wouldn't be present, as it would vary by brand, encoding etc. I think you're best luck though would download a meta-data viewer for JPEG (or your image format) and do some detective work.

It depends on camera. Some do log it, some don't. Once that do, may use proprietary or custom fields. Either case, there is no "standard" location/option to log this.
