I'm using Excel 2007. I'd like to add some buttons to the quick access toolbar for macros. And because the macros are specific to the workbook, I want the buttons to appear only when the workbook is open.
I clicked the office button -> Excel options -> customize. I found the macros in the left column, and chose "For (workbook name)" in the right column. Then "Add>>" -> OK -> save the workbook -> close. And when I reopened the workbook, nothing there. When I chose "For all documents (default)" in the right column, it worked as expected. Non-macros with "For (workbook name)" also worked.
Any idea about the cause of the problem? Thank you.
