We just deployed Redmine, but got one problem. There is no easy way to track time spent for project/bug.

There is a Redmine Client app, but it is not working with latest redmine. If a developer is not included in single project, app crashes with 403 error, can't edit time correctly (http://server/projects/12/timelog/edit), problem with issue number inserting, wrong time format maybe...

Any ideas?

Did you had a look at the plugin page on the Redmine wiki?

There is a Chart plugin that offers some charting capabilities: http://www.redmine.org/wiki/redmine/PluginCharts

EDIT There is also a plugin for Redmine that integrates with mite. But mite is not free to use. I didn't find anything else that can acheive what your are looking for (ie: Toggl or Slimtimer).

Chart is ok, but i need an app to measure the time spent. Something like Toggl or Slimtimer

I've just installed Mite, though not the plugin. Looking at it though, it looks like the plugin is a one-way from Redmine to Mite. i.e. you log time in Redmine, and the plugin updates your Mite account.

I think people are looking for the other way...some integration that allows you to use a good timer interface to udpate your redmine projects?

Cool :) There is a redmine2mite stuff, but you also need mite desktop client, and don't think it is connected via each other.

The docs says there is a time tracking feature, but couldn't see it in the demo http://www.redmine.org/wiki/redmine/RedmineTimeTracking
