How to sell collective intelligence/content mining services?

Hi, all.

I've been recently interested in and learning many collective intelligence, semantic web programming, mashups, data mining (just the data warehousing aspect), and content mining approaches and was wondering how to turn such passion/interest into a startup? Are there examples of startups whose core business relies on such services?

For example, some random brainstorming ideas, building recommendation engines for online stores? data mining automotive sites and providing analytics for automotive dealers? ...etc

i have seen that datamining solutions are very specific to each problem, theres nothing like 1 click install datamining kit, because every industry and costumer has its own requirements. you should think on developing a framework , for example , to extract data and knowledge, but the key aspects like pattern recognition or forecast is very specific with a lot of tweaking , thats why all this services are offered as a consultancy program which passes through all the KDD process. im very into web mining , trying to generate clusters of users and identifying them through their comments
