Hello all, Here is my problem Use case: - User will use a tool enables him to create a Form template that includes place holders for TextBoxes and data items. -After that user will upload the template to a website - Then user requests the template by the web site . website will replaces placeholders and shows the user the form. - then user fills in the form and save it . - then user downloads the complete form in word office format
Current Solution ,we have, uses custom HTML Editor to create the template and converter to convert HTML to WML this formats can be read by word. We have a lot of limitation to convert from HTML to WML and WML is very sensitive.
what i have suggest up till now . 1- Using word document as Form tempalte and then convert it to MHT file . Web Site can convert MHT to word document. - Problems in this solution 1- converting between word and MHT losts some features such water marks. 2- When saving Word document as MHT PlaceHolders is changes in unexpected maner
2- Second solution , using word document as Form tempate and then upload the word document to site . Site uses word document as it. When user request the form ,site will use interop to replace place holders of the word document and converts the word to MHT . when user fill in all Text boxes , site will take the values and replace it in The word document . User then can download word document directly
- This soultion solves the placeHolders problem in first solution but converting problem is not solved.
Is any one has any solution to solve this Problem?
