Pressing enter after choosing a fuzzyfinder file doesn't load the file

I setup fuzzyfinder according to:

However my omnicomplete box is a bit foobared. I can scroll up and down but whenever I press enter to open a file, the omnicomplete box closes and I remain in the finder.

I've spent a while trying to paw through my vimrc but don't see what the issue is so far. Any ideas? I can post the vimrc if that'd help. Thanks!
