Most books are for 1.2, there are some coming out later in the year.

Including:

NHibernate 2.x Beginner's Guide http://www.packtpub.com/nhibernate-2-x-beginners-guide/book#indetail

Although I don't know if you are a beginner or not!!

In my opinion, by far the best book on NHibernate is NHibernate in Action http://www.manning.com/kuate/

Guess the best thing to do is to check out blogs and user groups such as

http://groups.google.com/group/nhusers

Hopefully there may be a new edition of nhibernate in action!!

It appears Tobin Harris (one of the authors of nhib in action) is planning a second version of the book to cover nhib 2 and possibly even 3). source: http://jesschadwick.blogspot.com/2009/07/book-review-nhibernate-in-action.html?showComment=1246808212047#c1033436621663834938

For the record, "NHibernate 2 Beginner's Guide" (Aaronn B. Cure) just landed on my desk, and this was definitely too basic for me. I flipped through this in 20 minutes and extracted nothing useful from it.

All of the examples are in Visual Basic, and most of the book doesn't really focus on NHibernate, as such, but more on related things, or things leading up to that - but clearly this was written for complete beginners.

You will learn how to retrieve and update objects, but that's about it. This book barely scratches the surface of the NHibernate API - it only teaches very, very basic operations.

That's not a criticism of the book itself, it is after all titled "Beginner's Guide", but just to emphasize that this is definitely a book for the absolute beginner - perhaps someone doing their first, real-world, but very small .NET project.
