Hello there, my question is not exactly about programing as i've used ADPU commands before with other cards and card readers, it is rather with not being to knowledgable with the EMV specification.
I'm currently using an OMNIKEY 3121 cardreader which is EMV 2000 compliant and a card with and EMV chip that has the MasterCard logo on it(i don't know anything else about the card).
I'm supposed to read the information from the chip, now from what i have read from the EMV specification, i'm supposed to select(with SELECT) the apropriate "application" and only after that i'll be able to read the records(with READ RECORD), someone please correct me if i'm wrong ?
And this is where i have a few questions: How do i know which applicatios are available on the card, can i somehow list them ? I also tryed selecting the PSE directory with the name 1PAY.SYS.DDF01 but i get 0x6122 in return(in general i don't know where to lookup the codes if something goes awry).
Could the issuer of the card provide me the information i need ?
