I've just done a clean reinstall of Windows 7; I backed up my mail to a .pst file and have now imported that file to my Outlook 2007 software.
As soon as I add the pop3 account and hit "send & receive", Outlook starts trying to download a copy of every mail in my inbox from the beginning of time. It crashes after the first few mails are retrieved, then when it's restarted downloads duplicates of the mails already retrieved and crashes shortly (again just a few mails are retrieved).
Is there a way to get the server to "recognise" that I've already downloaded these emails, or to mark certain emails to not be downloaded ?
