telit gm862-gsm in visual studio

hey guys i am trying to set up an alarm system so that if the alarm or doorbell go off then a test is sent to my phone, im using the telit gm862-gsm to send the texts and also know how to code my home interface board using c# in visual studio but im unsure how to set the code to send the text one the alarm goes off, im currently using the telit module in hyperterminal but am guessing that it would be easier to use the same program for both, any help would be much apreciated
