Hi,
I'm new to cognos report studio , i have data organised in query items as per business date the cognos report shows data filter by business date for business date there is separate table join this is one column one row table with current business date always. cognos report is scheduled to run everyday after data is populated in data source this bit is fine.
However I want to have ability to run this same report on demand and when I run report on demand it should prompt me for date instead of picking up from database table. I know how to add prompt but when i add prompt my scheduled reports doesnt work as i cant provide any default as it has to be dynamically picking up from table. It would be helpful to get any pointers .
