ERROR [HY000][ODBC Excel Driver] The connection for viewing your linked Micrisoft Excel worksheet was lost.

I have an SSRS Report, which uses an Excel file as datasource. I have created a system dsn and connect my SSRS Report through ODBC. I can see the fields in design time but when I preview the report the following error generates.
