Uh what? The whole point of "The Cloud" is that it is some set of magical servers off on the internet that you don't have to worry about the hardware. If you are building a single server, that is exactly the OPPOSITE of "The Cloud".

Cloud providers like Microsoft Azure, Amazon, etc, require you to use their servers.
To run your own cloud environment where you control the servers, about the only offering I know of is Ubuntu Enterprise Cloud
