I have been given web space for a project I am creating for my boss. However, when I uploaded my aspx pages to the site through FTP (on Windows Vista), and navigated to the site, I received the following error: "It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS."
I have tried creating an application in IIS, but it has not worked, I believe because I am uploading to a remote server.
If anyone has any ideas as to how I can resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate.
