Programming a Stock-Trading Application

How would I go about programming a stock-trading application that can display information from the Bombay Exchange, as well as others? I'm open to suggestions in java, c, or even asp.

A good start would be the Stock Market Exchange API which is available to smaller development teams. It currently supports the following markets:

  • NASDAQ, United States
  • NYSE, United States
  • Bombay Stock Exchange, India
  • National Stock Exchange, India
