What the advantages/disadvantages ...
I have time to learn, but I need to choose between Mapserver or Gaoserver...
What you think about that?

- Geoserver has a more friendly administrator interface, with mapserver it all comes down to edit the mapfile.
- Mapserver is written in C, C++, Geoserver in Java. Choose the architecture that best fits your expertise
- MapServer and GeoServer are both platform independent
- GeoServer provides OGC WFS and WMS services out of the box, when you create layers, they are automatically set to be provided through these services, with MapServer you have to do some manual configuration in the mapfile
- Both are fast, GeoServer requires slightly more resources and: java.
