Magento Installment Payments?

Question

Is it possible to have a payment option to pay in X installments in Magento?

We will be using Moneris as our payment gateway to process cards if that makes any difference.

There no way to do this out of the box with the core Magento system (either community edition or enterprise edition). You'll need to hire a Magento developer to create this functionality for you, or else find an existing extension that does what you want.

For me an option to insert amount when capturing invoice in admin would do. The same as when creating CreditMemo where you can specify the amount. ..
