How to import Microsoft Project parent / child tasks into Team Foundation Server

Question

I'm attempting to import a MS Project "project" into TFS 2010. The project contains numerous parent tasks and child tasks. They are not importing the way I would like them to. For example in MS Project I have:

1) Analysis Phase 1a) GUI Design 2) Programming Phase 2a) GUI Design

When I import these into TFS, the hierary/linking is lost so the resulting tasks in TFS come out as follows:

1) Analysis Phase 2) GUI Design 3) Programming Phase 4) GUI Design

I can relable the tasks after importing them, but this will be a manual process on over a thousand project tasks:

1) Analysis - Gui Design 2) Programming - GUI Design

I'm looking for a way to maintain the hierary on the import to avoid the manual modification.
