how can i to pass a value of a list's column to an infopath form?

Question

i have a list that contains column about books(library),i want to click on the code of book,then an infopath form will open with the code passed to it,and the other information will fill by user at the end submit this form and the book will lend to a person.that is the senario. can i do this with sharepoint2007?can anybody help me because i'm new with sharepoint
