versoning error ajax control toolkit

Hi All, When i am running sample ajax application i am getting the following error.

Error 1 Could not load file or assembly 'System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.40412.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. E:\Projects\Ajax Samples\Web.config

the assembly verson of the Ajax Toolkit is 3.5.40412.0.
