I need to waste a single ink channel on my epson printer, anyone know how to do it? I mean, there is no documented way to do that, but I could program a software that could do that, send RAW commands, or special colors. I searched for some documentation, no luck.

So open Photoshop or MS paint, colour a big square the same colour you need to waste. Hit print.

hahaha... wonderful answer. really. I literally laughed out loud! I'd +10 if I could. I'm on ubuntu, but I think I can transcribe your solution to something that works for me too :)

I cannot, it's a professional printer with 9 different colors, doing that will use up to 4 colors to print a color.

If you want to waste the magenta channel, for example, why don't you just create a word document with a huge square in that color and keep printing the document until the printer runs out of that color?

Open the ink tank and drain the ink out of it? That'll be much quicker, unless you really want a program-based way to do this.

i need to remove the ink from the print head, it's a large format printer, there are 50ml of ink inside the print head
