Migrate SQLExpress to MySQL datetimeoffset issue

Hi, i'm trying to migrate from sqlexpress to mysql, and am having an issue with the DateTimeOFfset(7) field in one of my tables. MySQL is refusing to handle it.. Is there a way to get around this?
