How to embed swf file with flex sdk 4 using pure as3 script (no xml)

This article explained how to do so http://www.bit-101.com/blog/?p=853

but it doesn't seem to work with Flex SDK 4 as I got this error when building it with Flash Develop (latest version 3):

\Embedding/src/App.as:1: characters 0-7 : parse error Unexpected package Build halted with errors (mtasc).

So how to correct ?
