I have seen references online that state that Scheduled Tasks in Windows are stored in %SystemRoot%\Tasks (usually C:\Windows\Tasks). However on my Windows 7 system, I observe that while that folder exists, it does not seem to be used. Instead my system seems to be using C:\Windows\System32\Tasks .
Is there any way to discover which folder is used on any particular system? I have looked at the Environment variables and there doesn't seem to be anything related to Scheduled Tasks there.
