www.facebook.com is actually pretty nifty.

I really like rememberthemilk.com, and I also like the new cerb4 helpdesk. Both apps are not just pretty, they've done a lot in terms of usability as well.
I think Mint looks pretty great for a webapp.
I've also always loved jodi.org. Be sure to view the source for the homepage.
I think www.picnik.com, a photo editing web app, looks really nice.

In terms of web apps, I like to look at usability as well as sheer good looks. There are some strong contenders in this list from Jakob Nielsen.
Personally, I'm considering moving my accounts to Xero on the strength of its usability and good looks - it's so far advanced of most other accounting packages!
