Cloud computing is quite similar to using email servers. But this emailing seems so familiar that I don't see any new concepts in this cloud computing. Please tell me what is special about this concept?

The special thing about the concept of Cloud Computing is that it commoditizes infrastructure. In your house, if you want more water today, turn all the taps on.... with cloud infrastructure, you concentrate on building software which can scale from supporting a few users to thousands of users just by configuring things differently.
So the essence of what cloud gives us is:
- Lower total cost of ownership
- Massive scalability
- No worrying about hardware and backups etc
