When writing an ActionScript application on Flash Media Server 3.5, is it possible to execute local (unix) system commands within the actionscript itself?
The uses of actionscript, being primarily used client side where people are quick to respond "No, that's impossible, it's a security risk for flash", make it difficult to search for questions relating to its server side implementation.
The answer may still be no, but I haven't found that concrete answer.
