oracle forms 10g. Deploy on customer site in seperate OC4J instance

I have an Oracle Forms 10g (10.1.2.3) application consisting of a set of .fmx, plx and jar files. I know how to configure the configuration files on an OAS to get things running. However, at one of our customer sites I saw that they have every forms application running in it's own OC4J instance. How is this done? How do I "package" my application so that I get it running in it's own OC4j instance.

Also, what is the correct terminology involved?
