WMV live stream in Quartz Composer

Is there any way to use a WMV stream in Quartz Composer?

I have tried providing the URL of the stream to a Movie Importer patch and enabling asynchronous playback, but nothing happens. I have WMV components (Flip4Mac) for QuickTime installed.

Just wondering if this is possible.
