Drivers for HID

Hi,

I am connecting a HID device using the 32feet.net's InTheHand dll.

The device is connected smoothly when I am working on Windows 7. The drivers for the device are installed.

However, in Windows XP, the same thing requires me a restart after the drivers are installed. I cannot afford a restart every time the drivers for the HID are installed.

Can anyone please explain me the behavior.
