I have been trying to configure centralized eventlogging for our windows environment, and I am using winrm utility to accomplish this. I have been facing multiple issues in
1.) configuring a Windows 2008 R2 server (purpose: event collector) with Windows 2003 ( source computer), especially the WS-man ping works at times from windows 2008 to windows 2003 but the other way round it never works, it gives me the HTTP error from windows 2003 to windows 2008 , 2.)on another instance I could configure the event forwarding from windows 2003 box to a windows vista box, and its jus tthat in few hours the eventforwarding stops and I have to restart the winrm service on both ends to enable this again,
