JavaScript WYSIWYG editor used by Gmail

Any idea how Gmail implement their simple WYSIWYG editor, visible when composing email messages?

That's their own editor. If you're just looking for JS WYSIWYG editor, then there are quite a few to choose from. E.g.

• CKEditor
• TinyMCE
• openWYSIWYG
• NicEdit

Google most likely developed it themselves, however they may have also used the GWT Library.
