I have a pages library full of published pages that do not have a link anywhere in my SharePoint site. After a full crawl of my site collection only the default page (there is no navigation menu on the default page) of the web in question is indexed.

I know that if I make a page that links all of the pages this will work, but the problem is that there are going to be hundreds if not thousands of pages in this library and the content query webpart is far too slow. I was hoping to avoid having to write a custom webpart that displays a link for every page with paging (imtech part extends CQWP which barfs for me).

The library is available for search in advanced options and all pages are checked in/published -- permissions are also correct. Shouldn't this be a default behavior for the sharepoint indexer?

note: this is SharePoint 2010
