windows media streaming issue

Question

Hi all:

i'm using windows media streaming to play a video file in my web application .

i've setup my server as windows media streaming server.

i refer to my video file as mms://[ip address]//Video folder /filename.asf.

when start playing the video file , the file can't be started at its first position but when seeking it , it is played successfully , i don't know the problem

any ideas ??????????????????????
