How do I set the default content in the 'additional comments' box on the post_bug.cgi page in Bugzilla based on the status of the bug?

I have been able to set the default content in this box, but now I need the content to be able to change as the user changes the status of the bug i.e. if the bug is resolved I want to add specific instructions in the box as to what information is requested, if the bug is being closed I want to add a different set of instructions. Anyone have any suggestions as to the easiest way to do this?
