What you do before starting to code/program everyday?
Play a flash game? Surfing?

Spend an extra 30 seconds thinking about my question for StackOverflow before posting it?
More seriously, I guess I would say:
Are you saying you actually stop programming?! :-)
I process all my emails before starting to code.
I open a browser with SO and as most of the people on here know thats the worst thing you can do because there goes the idea of getting any work done.
1: Drink Coffee
2: Slowly Wake up (at my desk) while checking SO and e-mails
3: Check for any deals on the net for chrimbo pressies.
3: Update all my code from the repository, then scratch head and chin for a while in a monkey-like fasion.
Try to remove all distractions from my environment. Too much noise -> listen with my headset to some acoustic music Not enough/Too much light -> Adjust light properly Too much phone calls -> Throw phone away Too much emails -> close email client/email webpage
I quickly browse through all my unread items in Google Reader to catch up on whatever's happened during the night. And get coffee.
I usually:
Drink my coffee.
Cry "BRAAAAAAAINS...." at my coworkers.
Read the newspaper.
Tend to my rotting limbs.
Fire up Visual Studio.
Most of these happen concurrently.
Go surfing. Check out feeds. Have breakfast and coffee or tea. Say hello to the sun. Find out what I need to do (and why).
Prepare coffee. Read sports. Read mail.
This seems like 10' but always takes about 30'...
