Basically I want to know what each of those title means? What would be other names for people who develop websites using php and mysql?

They all means the same thing. No particular different. But if there is a need to differentiate between them....
- Web Developer is a person who normally install and configure and manage a website using popular content management software.
- Web application developer is a person who develop applications ( mostly business level and internal ) that can be used through browser.
- Web software developer creates public facing software such as this website.
...but again, its just musing. It all means same thing.

I'd like to disagree with your definitions and/or add a `[citation needed]`. Why does a "developer" only install and configure? Where's the difference between "software" and "application"?
