Placing Phone Calls To Android Phone From A Program over Bluetooth

I am kicking around the idea of installing a netbook in my car, and I'd like to write an app (C# and WPF based) that would essentially be a gigantic phone interface connected via bluetooth to my Android phone (Nexus 2.2). There was already a similar question asked here, however based on a google search and response here I guess it's not possible to accomplish this. Could anyone confirm this or provide a few more pointers?
