What application do you use to publish screenshots and code inside your company?

Hi

I feel a need to show my screen to other people. To ask for help or show how to do things. I also feel a need to report on my progress, like with twitter-like report style.

That information don't fit in the mailbox. (or I don't whan't do dump in other inboxes.)

What applications exist or do you use to get that done? (screendumps, code and reports)

I would use a Wiki or a Blog.

You can put your screenshots and your additional text in there.

Both are also good discussion platforms.

screenhunter is a great screen capture utility. Maybe not what you were angling for though.

I greatly enjoy skitch myself. I use it for all kinds of random stuff.

if you're looking for an in-house twitter, maybe you'll want to set up Laconica. (http://laconi.ca) It's an PHP based Microblogging service you can run on your intranet if you like.

For screenshots i also recommend skitch (http://skitch.com/) which depends on mac... You can still use it as an image hub for sharing and commenting screenshots, but you can't use the (really great) screenshot application on windows yet..

I've found that a desktop sharing tool is useful if you need assistance with code (link text for example).
