are this a new domain extensions or not? http://azure.snagy.name http://bit.ly

A: 

.name, .info, .aero. etc have been around for a while now. See .name on Wikipedia.

By the way, .com, .net, .org, .name etc are called Top-Level Domains (TLDs), and not "domain extensions".
