I was meant to have my final exam on database management back in January, but I was too ill at the time to sit it.

My resit have been scheduled for the end of August, which comes right at the crucial time where my dissertation needs to be nearing completion. Therefore I need to start my revision now as it's been a while since I last had a lecture on DBM.

Does anyone know of any good online tutorials, or can you recommend any good books on the subject as I'd prefer that method to looking through my notes again.

Below is a link to a past paper so you can get an idea of the knowledge level.

Thank you!

For relational algebra this might be handy:

A good starting book for beginners according to me is this, although it is not covering all aspects of the exam paper.

Don't forget to actually practice on a real world database. That is my ten cents.
