can i upload file using selenium rc in IE

i tried selenium.type ,selenium.attachFile both didnt work for me?? any other solutions

Were you able to solve it? I need to upload file using IE but i run my tests from ubuntu and remote to the windows machine.

i used autoit to upload file ,it works only for windows
